Technical Resource - Clutch

The clutch on these race cars is a conventional single friction plate type, actuated by a fully hydraulic master and slave cylinder. The clutch cover (pressure plate) and friction plate may be either standard road going parts or specific motorsports engineering parts such as those manufactured by Sachs or Helix.
