Technical Resource - Brakes

The standard Formula Ford Zetec brakes consist of an alloy caliper with twin pistons and either floating or fixed steel disc's. A range of pads are available from Ferodo, Mintex and SBS. There must be separate hydraulic circuits for the front and rear and brake bias is normally adjustable by the driver from within the cockpit.
